Is this working right? I've never seen one of these journal things before, so I'm not entirely sure how to approach it. Um. Yes. Well.

Yes, well. This is Regulus Black. Um. I am ~~very cold and wet~~ . ~~terrifically confused~~ . ~~in rather desperate need of assistance~~. not entirely sure what's going on. I, for lack of a better word, woke up several hours ago ~~in the Dark Lord's~~ somewhere very strange. I was forced to swim in the wretchedly cold ocean for several minutes, very much against my desires, I assure you, and when I finally emerged and was able to apparate away, I found that my house was gone! Yes, gone. Not burned down and knocked over--just not there. The space between the neighbours' houses in Grimmauld Place where MY home should be is just non-existent. I am not pleased by this development.

I wasn't really sure what to do at that point, so for some unfathomable reason I apparated to the Leaky Cauldron. I was fairly... bedraggled, I suppose. But the barman, whoever he was, for I've never seen him before, just looked at me for a moment, sighed and said, "Another one, eh?" and gave me this book, told me to write in it and said, "someone else can 'splain it much better 'an I can, I'd wager." ~~Unhelpful peasant.~~

Can someone please immediately explain what happened to me and where my house went? And, on a possibly related note, why is it snowing when it's supposed to be August?

I well.. I'm guessing you're either from the future or from the past. ~~Why is there no easy way to explain to someone that they've died?~~ There are a lot of people coming from the future, and they're mainly Potters and Weasleys and there are people coming back from the well.. the past who have.. Died, for lack of a better explanation.

I don't know much. Perhaps someone else can assist you. I just had to put my two-cents in, I don't like hearing how awful it is for you lot.

	Hmm. ~~So I did die. I suppose I'm not surprised.~~ Alright, for my own reasons, I could possibly be willing to dig deeper into this "death" theory and eventually come to believe you. Oh, Bella, thank God, a sane person at last. Bella, what's happened? Where did Grimmauld Place go? And why are these stupid girls blathering on about it being the future?

I'm still at the Leaky Cauldron. This moron bartender fellow still won't explain anything to me and he keeps giving me these pitying looks, but he's been providing me with free drinks and I suppose that's something. Can we meet somewhere before I go absolutely barking mad?

And Regulus..you have to promise me not to leave or hex me or anything else until after I've had a chance to explain everything ok? Just trust me...things are not what you remember them to be. ~~Things are not as any of us remember them to be~~

I have spoken to my mate Remus and he explained things to me. It is the year 2000. We both died and were brought back to life by some secret Horcrux.

I apparently was killed by Voldemort in the year 1980. I didn't believe it at first either but it is the truth.

It hasn't been a day. You died in 1979. The last year of my life was the hardest year ever. I continued researching and trying to find horcruxes. I didn't get very far obviously. I missed you. I was so empty without you. You are back now though!!

I understand. Just owl me when you are done and let me know where we can meet.
